laptop
Sam asked:

I have a laptop with a 7pin s-video output and a tv with a 4 pin s-video input. I have bought a standard 4m s-video cable from my local store to connect the two. I have connected the cables and my laptop seems to recognize the tv, as when Fn+F8 is pressed, there is an option to switch to TV mode or LCD mode, or both, whereas there was only one option before.

However, on my Samsung rear-projection television, I can’t find the channel that the laptop is at. Even when I switched to TV only output, there is no channel that recognises the laptop.

How can I get my Samsung rear projection to recognise my laptop and what channel will it be on? It is not on the AV “blue” screen channels as I have checked.

Help please as I really need this function.

Thanks

Terence

For setting like video you still have to bring over the hookup radio shack should have to do the cable to rca sockets your tv probably has small stereo connetor you can buy stereo connetor you need.
