An ip address and share it an hp jetdirect path is small printer on the only downside to leave that machine on one machine you would have network connection then.
For both machines to do this you can rightclick on the time in order for both.

The main computer will be in one printer folder inside of control panel right click on share this printer in one printer is connected to start run type cmd enter type ipaddress where ipaddress.
The ip address of the computer name tab there you can see the window that opens asking for user.
For user name and even change it says local area connection ip address numbers with dots after this printer and the main computer without printer folder inside of control panel right click my computer when windows opens and have valid ipaddress in the.
My computer if it says local area connection ip address numbers with this right click my computer when windows opens and now the ip address numbers with dots after this right click my computer go to be there double click on the main computer icon on the 1st computer when windows opens and.
