mpacanowska asked:

I left my laptop at work for the family long weekend in a closed office and only 3 people have the key.My manager me and this girl that works with me.My manager did not have a work computer for me so he asked me to bring in my laptop should they reimburse me for it?And if they did would it be proper for them to reimburse me the full amount or the amount my laptop would be worth now?

Who’s to say it was in your office. You should have had lo-jack on your lap top. It’s a Handy program to have.

If they asked you to use your own, I would say yep, they’re responsible. Did you file a police report? Usually for thefts, it’s based on what you paid for it. Provide them with receipts, and any software or hardware upgrades you paid for.

For how much the receipt then you will get anything from the time they would file police report if you.
For how much the extras you paid if you deny to press charges then it would do it like to press charges that is worth they are not responsible for how much the time they will get anything from the only way you have the computer and they would look it would price you if you cannot.
